Day 01: Welcome in Sofia - the Capital of Bulgaria and one of the oldest cities in Europe
Arrival in Sofia - the capital of the country - a beautiful city on its way to grow to a big and modern European city, with nice green arias, beautiful ancient churches and buildings from the beginning of the 20th century and incessant night life. Welcome and transfer to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 02: Sofia - one of the oldest cities in Europe
Sofia is modern capital comprises more than 250 historic, archeological and architectural landmarks: visit the National museum of History, the St. Petka Church, the Rotunda of St.Georg from the 4th century, the Banja Bashi Mosque, the National Theatre, the Synagogue and one of the most impressive cathedrals in South-East Europe - the St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral and of the St. Sofia church, which gave the name of the capital - full day tour with lunch at the Vitosha mountain. Dinner at a typical restaurant with folk style music and dances. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: The Treasury of the Rila Monastery - Borovets Resort
Leave for Rila Monastery - the biggest monastery on the Balkan Peninsula, the most important example for bulgarian revival architecture and painting and in the time of ottoman domination the most important cultural and educational centre. Human imagination and the talent in combination with nature have fashioned true perfection in the hearth of the RILA Mountain, 120 km from Sofia. The monument monastery architecture is truly breathtaking and the rich monastery lands are awe-inspiring. The RILA monastery is included in the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage. Sightseeing of the monastery and its museum. Departure for Borovets resort. Arrival and Accommodation at the hotel.
Day 04 -07: Ski vacation in Borovets resort
BOROVETS is the biggest alpine ski center in Bulgaria. The resort combines the architectural style of old chalets and the modern hotels. It was well known as resort as early as last century. The region of Borovets was one of the preferred hunting places of the Bulgarian kings.
It is situated in the Rila Mountain at 1350 m. above sea level, only 73 km from Sofia. The skiing season lasts from December to April. The average temperature in January is about 4C. Skiers of all levels of ability can find those appropriate for them to utilize. One of the best ski schools in Europe is also to be found here.
Ski Facts:Day 08: Sofia - Istanbul
Transfer to the airport. Departure for Istanbul "The King of the Cities". Arrival at Istanbul Airport, transfer to hotel 4 stars. Tour "Sultan's night" in one of the best club with dinner and folklore program. Overnight at hotel 4 * in Istanbul.
Day 09: Istanbul's Cultural Heritage
Full day Istanbul Istanbul tour: visit Hippodrome with Kaiser Fountain, Egyptian Obelisk, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia museum. Afternoon the tour continue to visit famous Topkapi Palace or Dolmabahce Sarai and shopping in Grand Bazaar. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 10: City of Two Continents
Bosphorus Cruise and Asia continent. Transfer to the pier, 2 hours boat trip along the Boshporus. Continue to Asia continent cross over Bosphorus Bridge, climb to Camlica hill, a nice view of Istanbul. Lunch at a seaside restaurant. Return to the hotel Via Bosphorus Bridge. Free time. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 11: End of Tour
Transfer to Istanbul Airport and flight back home
